Directions
Stovetop
1. Combine 2 ½ cups water or broth and 1 cup farro in saucepan.
2. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover.
3. Simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until desired tenderness. Drain, fluff with fork and serve.
Electric Pressure Cooker – to prepare 1 cup dry farro (about 3 cups cooked)
1. Combine 3 cups water or broth, 1 cup farro and dash salt (optional) in 6-qt. electric pressure cooker. Cover and lock lid closed, making sure steam valve is in seal position.
2. Set to pressure cook on HIGH for 4 minutes.
3. Allow pressure to release naturally for 20 minutes, then carefully turn steam valve to vent position to release remaining pressure. Remove lid and drain.
